Open Access Policy

The Journal is committed to providing immediate and free open access to its content, based on the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Core Principles:

  • Free Content Availability: The journal follows the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition. Readers have the right to read, download, copy, and distribute articles for any lawful purpose without prior permission, provided the original source is cited.

  • Immediate Access: Full-text research is available on the journal’s website immediately upon publication, with No Embargo Period.

  • Creative Commons Licensing: Published articles are licensed under (CC BY-NC 4.0), allowing the work to be shared and adapted for non-commercial purposes, ensuring the original authors receive proper credit.

  • Article Processing Charges (APCs): The journal charges a nominal fee (500 LYD for Libyan researchers / 100 USD for international researchers) to cover editorial and technical costs. High-quality research submitted in English is exempt from these fees to encourage international contributions.

  • Digital Archiving: The journal ensures the long-term sustainability and accessibility of its content through permanent archiving on the official website and recognized digital repositories.
