Conflict of Interest Policy

The Journal is committed to the highest standards of integrity. Disclosing any potential conflict of interest is a fundamental pillar in ensuring the credibility of published research. This policy requires authors, reviewers, and editorial board members to disclose any relationships that may influence the objectivity of the evaluation.

1. Forms of Conflict of Interest:

  • Financial Interests: Receiving funding, grants, or consultancy fees from entities with a direct interest in the research findings.

  • Personal Relationships: Family ties, close friendships, or animosities between researchers and reviewers or editors.

  • Institutional Affiliations: Employment at an institution whose reputation or financial standing may be affected by the research results.

  • Academic Interests: Direct academic competition or previous collaboration that might compromise the neutrality of the evaluation.

2. Responsibilities:

  • Authors: Authors must include a clear statement at the end of the manuscript titled "Conflict of Interest Statement." If no conflict exists, they should state: "The authors declare no conflict of interest."

  • Reviewers: Reviewers must decline the review request immediately if a conflict of interest exists that prevents a fair and objective assessment.

  • Editorial Board: Board members are committed to total neutrality. Any member is recused from decision-making regarding a manuscript in which they have a personal or institutional interest.

3. Procedures: Failure to disclose a conflict of interest may lead to the rejection of the manuscript or its retraction if discovered after publication, with necessary measures taken to ensure academic integrity.
