In this study, we discussed the concept of sunken antiquities and its relationship to the concepts of diving and archaeological survey What is the difference between the concept of underwater archaeology and the concept of underwater archaeology? The problem of this research revolves around the extent of the relationship between the concept of underwater archaeology and other concepts directly related to it. This study is scientific and practical, which is to prove the relationship between these concepts. This study aims to identify the reality of this relationship between these concepts from a theoretical perspective as well as a practical perspective, which is the dependence of each on the other. We reached some
results, including that archaeological researcher must be trained to dive in order to conduct marine archaeological surveys, which results in the preservation of underwater cultural
heritage. Among the recommendations also required to be adhered to by the parties
concerned with underwater antiquities in order to preserve it is a commitment to marine surveys along its shores extending over the seas.
